Eligibility

Our program is open to any ROTC students who are interested in learning Mandarin Chinese. No prior study of Chinese is required!

1. A U.S. citizen.

2. Eligible students include undergraduate or graduate students on track to commission through Army, Naval, or Air Force ROTC, whether contracted or non-contracted, at a regionally accredited U.S. college or university. Marine PLC students are also eligible.

 

For Overseas Participants

To be eligible for WKU Project GO overseas program, applicants must:

1. Remain in ROTC for the duration of the program.

2. Not be commissioned officers.

3. Be in an inactive, non-drilling status.

4. Not be employed by the U.S. federal government or any foreign government.

 

For Domestic Participants

To be eligible for WKU Project GO domestic program, applicants must:

1. Newly commissioned officers awaiting active duty (limited to officers commissioned in May and interested in summer domestic programs).

2. ROTC students who are drilling members of the National Guard or Reserves.

3. Army Green to Gold members.
