Note-Taking Services
Students registered with the Student Accessibility Resource Center (SARC) who have a note taking accommodation on file may utilize recording devices, note taking applications, or request that a student in the class volunteer to share their notes. Note Takers arranged in conjunction with the SARC share notes with a classmate in need. Note Takers are a vital link in providing support services to students at WKU. Note Takers can earn volunteer hours based on the number of course hours that notes were shared. Note Takers are only sought out if a SARC student makes the request. For additional information, please, select from the tabs below or contact sarc.notetaking@wku.edu.
If you are registered with the SARC and have a note taker accommodation on file and need to request assistance with securing a note taker for one or more of your classes, or would like general information on our processes.
If you are responding to an opportunity to take notes for a student in your class and want more information.
