Summer String Institute Concerto Competition

We are excited to hold the third-annual concerto competition! The first prize winner will perform in the SSI final concert on Friday evening. Any violin, viola, cello, or bass student enrolled in the WKU Summer String Institute is eligible to audition.

Audition Information: Due by July 1st. Submit a video recording of yourself performing your piece. You can upload the video to YouTube, Dropbox, iCloud, or any other service. Put the URL in the form below.

Final Round: Finalists will be notified by July 10. On the first day of the SSI, the Final Round will take place in-person. No piano accompaniment is necessary.

Award: The first prize winner will perform in the SSI Final Concert.
