Giving
Volunteer your time
Our doors are always open to you! We're always looking for eager alumni and other professionals to speak to current students. You're welcome to visit the Herald newsroom during production on Tuesday afternoons. Talisman staffers also welcome alums and others back to visit at the Adams-Whitaker Student Publications Center. You can work with students, give advice or just share fond stories of when you were on staff. Or we'd love to have you attend or speak at one of our workshops or training sessions.
Hire a staffer
Looking to make a hire? Have a part-time or internship position you are trying to fill? We know where our alumni are, and have students eager to gain experience. Email Chuck Clark for help with your search.
Donate
Our alumni from WKU Student Publications are a generous lot. Alumni, the College Heights Herald and the Talisman combined for a successful campaign to raise more than $1 million to build the Adams-Whitaker Student Publications Center. The 6,500-square-foot center opened in January 2008, a $1.7 million project that was a joint venture with WKU. We have a rich tradition of alumni support, and your financial help is always welcome and helps keep us going! The generosity of alumni and friends allows us to offer fellowships, fund scholarships and provide many other opportunities to students.
