Emily graduated with a BFA in Performing Arts from our department. Althaus is best known for acting in the hit Netflix Series, Orange is the New Black, which attracted 6.7 million viewers in its first 72 hours online for the Season 4 premiere.

While at WKU, Emily performed in "Sweet Charity", "As Bees in Honey Drown," "Blood Brothers", and "Violet", She has performed on Broadway, the Classic Stage Company, the Williamstown Theatre Festival, and made guest appearances on major TV networks.
