Margaret Hoshor
WKU Theatre and Dance Alum
Margaret Hoshor was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio where she began her training at the young age of three. With training from Terre's Dance Workshop and the Centerville High School Dance program, she was able to gain performance experience through the Miami Valley Dance Company and the Centerville Dance Company.
Margaret then made the move to Bowling Green, Kentucky where she received her BA in Dance along with a minor in Performing Arts Administration at Western Kentucky University. Through the dance program at WKU, Margaret also joined the Western Kentucky Dance Company and continued to grow her performance experience and research in many styles of dance.
Throughout her training, Margaret has had the opportunity to study with artists from the IMEE Dance Company, Lehrer Dance, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Ballet Met, The Ruth Page Center for the Arts, Dance Theatre of Harlem, New Dialect of Nashville, Broadway Dance Center, and the Martha Graham Dance Company.
She has also attended many summer intensives with the Columbus Dance Theatre, Joffrey Ballet (Full Scholarship Recipient), Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Rioult Dance NY. Margaret has now relocated to New York, New York where she is continuing to train and grow as an artist. Margaret is excited for the next step in her journey, and cannot wait to see what the city has to offer.
