August 29 - September 26 - Provost Ballman, Doug McElroy, and Merrall Price met with Academic College Leadership:

  • August 29 - CHHS
  • September 6 - GFCB
  • September 19 - PCAL
  • September 20 - CEBS
  • September 26 - OCSE

September 20 - Discussed the process with University Senate

September 24 - Met with Senate Academic Quality Committee

October 1 - Open Forum for all faculty to discuss rationale, outcomes, and solicit input on process, 3 pm - 4:30 pm.

October 19 - CAPE templates and data provided to department heads

October 30 - Revised data sheets distributed in response to feedback from department heads

October 31 - November 1 - Information Sessions

  • October 31, 1 pm - 2:30 pm - WAB 227
  • November 1, 10:30 am - 12 pm - WAB 227
  • November 1, 2 pm - 3:30 pm - WAB 227

January 8 - Department-level recommendations due to the dean and department faculty

January 8 - College-level evaluator training on application of the CAPE Scoring Rubric

February 1 - College-level recommendations due to CAPE committee, department heads and faculty

March 1 - University-wide CAPE committee initial recommendations due to academic department heads and faculty

March 11 - University-wide CAPE committee begins hearings for academic programs recommended for suspension

March 18 - University-wide CAPE committee final recommendations due to the Office of the Provost, college deans, academic

  department heads, and faculty

March 29 - Recommendations due to President's Office for Board of Regents AA Committee meeting April 12th

April 12 - Board of Regents AA Committee meets and reviews recommendations

  May 10 - Board of Regents reviews/approves final recommendations
