WKU Wind Ensemble


The WKU Wind Ensemble is made up of 45 of the finest wind and percussion students and is the premier concert ensemble at the university.  The ensemble is conducted by Director of Bands, Dr. Gary Schallert, and performs the highest quality of wind literature available, traditional and contemporary.  The Wind Ensemble is a frequent performer at regional and national conventions as well as performing two on-campus concerts per semester.

 

 

Membership in the WKU Wind Ensemble is by competitive audition only.  Auditions are held before the beginning of each semester.  For more information on joining the Wind Ensemble, click below.
