Gordon Ford College of Business Appoints New MBA Director

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Kate Nicewicz Scott, Assistant Professor of Marketing, will be the new MBA Director for the Gordon Ford College of Business. Dr. Nicewicz Scott brings a wealth of experience in graduate program leadership to her new role.
Previously, Dr. Nicewicz Scott served as the Director of Graduate Programs in the College of Business at Tennessee Tech University. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in coordinating AACSB and SACSCOC accreditation efforts at the graduate program level. Her leadership extended to program development, financial management, and student recruitment and engagement for the MBA and MAcc programs.
Dr. Nicewicz Scott holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester, an MBA from Tennessee Tech University, and a Ph.D. from Kennesaw State University. She has published papers in Marketing Education Review, serves as a reviewer for the Academy of Marketing Sciences annual conference, and is a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Science.
Dr. Nicewicz Scott assumes her role on July 1st.
MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The stackable MBA program at WKU is a flexible option designed for working professionals. It allows students to apply credits earned towards graduate certificates while pursuing their MBA. They can choose two 12-credit-hour stackable graduate certificates, one 3-credit-hour program elective, and complete a 3-credit-hour capstone class. The program is entirely online, with the option of synchronous meetings for some courses, making it convenient for those with busy schedules.
Concentrations available within the MBA program include Business Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Management, Executive Decision Making, Dietetics Management, Marketing and Sales, and Supply Chain Management.
