We’ve all heard the saying “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.” The same is often true of our students. We can tell them about all the wonderful resources available to them on campus, but how do we get them to take advantage of the services? How do we help them to be bold and overcome their fears of asking for help? How do we even start this conversation with our students? Our goal in this discussion extends beyond merely raising awareness about campus resources. Through this workshop, we will bring the idea of campus resources from abstract to concrete by providing you with actionable strategies and insights. This will ensure you feel equipped to guide students in leveraging the full spectrum of services available at WKU.
