The Road to a Data Scientiest @ Apple

This presentation will focus on my journey from a WKU math major to a career in data science. It will 

• explain my journey from a WKU math major to a data scientist.
• include some examples of work we do that relies on my background in mathematics.
• impart some thoughts on what students should be doing to prepare themselves for a career in a quantitative field.

Short Bio: Jeron graduated from WKU in 2020 with a degree in mathematical economics and minors in applied statistics and finance. He then continued his education at the Institute of Advanced Analytics at N.C. State where he received a Masters in Analytics. Jeron has since been applying advanced analytic solutions to solve business problems as a data scientist at Bain & Company and most recently at Apple.
