Research

Dr. Bettersworth's research focus has been in the area of mathematics education, specifically related to student cognition and the ways in which math education research can inform curriculum development at the undergraduate level, specifically in the areas of calculus and linear algebra education. Dr. Bettersworth is also interested in how students think about mathematical topics while playing digital games.
