WKU is located at the top of the Hill overlooking the city of Bowling Green. It is
the third most populous city in the state of Kentucky. Additionally, Bowling Green
is a welcoming community with many things to do and see—the ideal place for you to
experience American life.
AIR TRAVEL
WKU is located in the Central Time Zone of the U.S. and is roughly 60 miles north
of Nashville, Tennessee.
The closest airport is the Nashville International Airport (BNA). Alternatively, WKU
is roughly 110 miles south of the Louisville International Airport (SDF) is roughly
110.
There are multiple transportation options from BNA to Bowling Green including car rental, Uber/Lyft and the Bowling Green Shuttle service (learn more about reserving a shuttle). An Uber/Lyft between Bowling Green & Nashville costs roughly $200-$250 each way.
