Percussion Ensemble

The WKU Percussion Ensemble is dedicated to performing contemporary percussion ensemble literature, including new works. Students gain a knowledge of percussion ensemble repertoire and performing techniques on many percussion instruments. 

Students also gain an understanding of ensemble rehearsal techniques, an opportunity to play a variety of instruments and styles of music, familiarity with the different notation systems used in percussion, and an understanding of ensemble logistics.
