Mary Wolinski holds the Ph.D. from Brandeis University and is Associate Professor of Music History. Her publications have focused on polyphonic music of the thirteenth and early fourteenth centuries. These include articles on the medieval manuscripts Montpellier, H. 196, and Wolfenbrittel, Guelf. 1206 Helmst, the transmission of French motets in Arras, and collaboration on the CD-ROM Cantus et Musicus, under the auspices of the BibliothIIque Interuniversitaire de Modecine in Montpellier. Research Award from the American Philosophical Society, a Fellowship for College Teachers and Independent Scholars, and a Travel to Collections Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
