In this webinar you will learn how to easily connect MATLAB and Simulink to hardware. MathWorks engineers will show multiple methods to connect MATLAB and Simulink to an air control valve. Through product demonstrations we will show how you can acquire data, use the data for creating and characterizing models, and then run models together with hardware for real-time, closed-loop testing.
Key concepts will include:
• Acquiring data with MATLAB and Simulink
• Creation of models from acquired data
• Using design models for real-time simulation and testing

About the Presenters:
Ethan Woodruff is an Application Engineer at MathWorks specializing in real-time testing applications. Previously, he worked for BAE SYSTEMS doing real-time HIL simulation testing at the US Air Force's Guided Weapons Evaluation Facility. He holds B.A. in Physics and a B.A. in Math from the University of Montana.
Isaac Noh is an Application Engineer at MathWorks specializing in test and measurement applications. Previously, he worked for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory working on test automation systems for semiconductor lithography systems. He holds an M.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
