OCSE Instrumentation

Available Instrumentation

Since 2009 OCSE faculty have received > 6.2 Million in instrumentation and equipment grants for the use of our students in research and classes.  Some of our new instrumentation:

Confocal Microscope          Flash Chromatography        Fluorescence Microscope

Infrared Spectrometry       LC-MS         Nuclear Magnetic Resonance      Robotics

Scanning Electron Microscope      Stopped Flow Kinetic Spectrometer    Supercomputer

Transmission Electron Telescope         XRD

Ogden College has a strong history of supporting research and project infrastructure at WKU, both through the academic departments and through the many interdisciplinary ARTP centers. Students, faculty, staff, and independent contractors should contact the individuals responsible for each piece of equipment if they have a need to use it.

A list of the instrumentation available can be found here; each department and center maintains additional equipment that might meed your needs. Questions regarding instrumentation not on this list may be directed to Associate Dean Cathleen Webb.
