College High Hall

College High Hall houses math classes and math tutoring and testing centers. It also is home to the offices of many OCSE departments, including Architectural Science, Civil Engineering, CIT, Computer Science, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Tech Management, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Industrial Education.  The Center for Energy Systems lab is also in COHH.

Math Tutoring Lab

The Math Tutoring Lab is located in room 2124 of College High Hall.  Undergraduate and graduate tutors provide individual assistance to students in the following Math courses:  105, 109, 112, 115, 116, 117, 123, 136, 183, 205, 206, 308. The Math Tutoring Lab averages about 940 tutoring sessions per semester. Students seeking math assistance or a place to do their homework are welcome at any time. Tutoring sessions are free and do not require an appointment. The Math Tutoring Lab hours for fall and spring semesters are Monday–Thursday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and Friday from 8:30am to 2:00pm. 

 

Math Testing Center 

The Mathematics Testing Center (MTC) provides testing services for the WKU Math Department and is located in room 2126 of College High Hall. The MTC can accommodate up to 42 students and provides a proctored setting for the administration of both computer-based and paper-based tests and quizzes. The MTC is a convenient option for instructors to offer testing outside of normal class times and serves as a venue for delivering make-up tests and/or quizzes. The MTC administers approximately 9,000 exams and quizzes per academic year. The Math Testing Center hours for fall and spring semesters are Monday–Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
