The Industrial Partnership Student Dinner was held on September 20, 2018 in the WKU Augenstein Alumni Center. It was a time for members of the Industrial Partnership and students to meet and discuss future opportunities. The partcipants began with self-introductions and ice breakers with their table which consisted of five-eight students and two-three company representatives. The students were able to ask questions about industry, engineering in real world as well as what companies looked for in an employee. After dinner, the participants gathered for a game of trivia and students able to hand out resumes for future contact.

Members of the Industrial Partnership include: Emerson-Hermetic Motor Division,Fruit of the Loom, General Motors Company (Bowling Green Corvette Assembly Plant), Hill's Pet Nutrition, J.M. Smucker, LG&E and Kentucky Utilities, Logan Aluminum, NHK International, Nemak, Pan Oston Scotty's Contracting & Stone, SpanTech,  Stupp Bridge, Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc., and Trace Die Cast.
