Eligibility Guidelines:
The Ogden Foundation Scholarship renews automatically each year for students in good standing. The recipient may receive a maximum of four years (eight semesters) of scholarship awards. High school seniors and current WKU Ogden College majors are eligible to apply.
- The applicant must be a Kentucky high school graduate or have a parent who is a legal resident of Kentucky. Warren County residents are given priority over all other applicants when satisfaction of the other eligibility and selection criteria is essentially equal.
- Applicant must return a complete scholarship application form by February 1 of the year the student plans to enroll.
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 and a minimum ACT score of 26 (Math/Science and/or Composite).
- Applicant must submit a current high school or college transcript with the application Email to ogdencollegefoundation@wku.edu.
- Applicant must enroll as a full-time student at Western Kentucky University.
- Applicant must declare a major in a degree program offered by the Ogden College of Science and Engineering at Western Kentucky University.
- Applicant must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 at Western Kentucky University.
- Applicant must continue to meet all the above eligibility requirements to continue receiving the award.
- Students who receive a Cherry Presidential are ineligible for the Ogden Foundation Scholarship.
