Work and Research Opportunities
Opportunities with WKU Physics and Astronomy
The Department of Physics and Astronomy is committed to provide work-study and/or research-related work opportunities for all of its students that desire it. Several faculty have funding to support undergraduate student researchers in their laboratories. Interested students should inquire with faculty about what positions may be available.
All student employees in the Department of Physics and Astronomy must complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). In order to avoid delays in receiving your paycheck, please complete this form as soon as possible. The WKU Financial Aid Office has copies of the form or you can complete it online at the US Department of Education FAFSA web site using the link below.
New student employees must also officially apply for a position using an online system called HandShake. To use this system go to wku.joinhandshake.com and log in using your WKU NetID and password.
