Many students don’t know how to study. They often complete high school with little effort and become frustrated when they encounter a true, college-level course where attending class alone is not enough to succeed. Metacognition is a tool that can help students understand how to study to learn rather than just earn a grade. Come see how we integrated metacognition as an intervention into two of our high-stakes, 100-level biology courses.
