This workshop will address the role of artificial intelligence in today's news landscape. Content will include fake news, media bias, and mis/disinformation. Participants will learn how to spot AI-generated news and media content, mindfully curate reliable social media feeds, and establish credibility in popular sources. We will also discuss how these topics can be approached in the classroom and provide take-home resources that can be passed along to students.
