Biography
Dr. Spears holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Kentucky. She has published articles on professional writing in the Journal of Technical Writing and Communication, Business Communication Quarterly, and the Journal of Business and Technical Communication. She has chaired the Scholarships and Awards (undergraduate) Committee in the English Department for over 10 years.
