Congratulations to the English Department’s very own, Dr. David Bell, whose novel She’s Gone has been listed as a New York Times Bestseller!
She’s Gone is a YA suspense novel about 17-year-old Hunter Gifford, who wakes up in the hospital to learn he and his girlfriend, Chloe Summers, have been in a terrible car accident, and Chloe has disappeared. The entire town is pointing the finger at Hunter as he faces a sickening possibility. Did he kill the person he loved?
She’s Gone is Dr. David Bell’s first young adult novel, having written and published fourteen other books for adults. Bell says that “Being on the New York Times Bestseller list is a dream come true” and he feels “Incredibly grateful to all the readers and booksellers and librarians who helped make this happen.” Congrats to Dr. Bell for this amazing accomplishment!
