The WKU Department of English hosted the 2020 Undergraduate Conference on Literature, Language, and Culture on November 13. After the event, the moderating WKU English MA and MFA students voted on three winning presentations.

Mac Williams is a senior Professional Writing major with a minor in Creative Writing from Rineyville, KY. Last Spring, Williams received the Critical Language Scholarship which he had hoped to use to study Japanese language abroad.

Five students in the Department of English have received the Benjamin A. Gilman scholarship which offers grants of up to $5,000 for undergraduate students to pursue academic study abroad opportunities.
