Travel and Transportation

Once you have your visa, it is time to make your flight arrangements. You will need to arrive in time for the mandatory International Exchange Student Orientation. The Exchange Coordinator will inform you of recommended arrival and departure dates. You should book your flights to arrive to Nashville, Tennessee (BNA), which is about a one-hour drive time from Bowling Green. Please email your itinerary (date of arrival, all flight numbers) to the Exchange Student Coordinator as soon as you have it.

Before you travel, you should review the information provided by International Student and Scholar Services about arriving in the United States.

You may arrange a ride back to the airport through Bowling Green Shuttle. Please note that the Bowling Green Shuttle provides transport only for on-campus locations, which include: Campbell Lane Bus Stop, Creason Lot Bus Stop, Pierce Ford Tower Bus Stop, or Parking Structure #1 on College Heights Boulevard.
