Health Insurance

In order to study as a J1 student at WKU, you must purchase WKU health insurance. The cost of the insurance per semester for the 2022 - 2023 academic year is $2,182.

• If you have a minor health issue, you can seek medical care on campus at gravesgilbert.com/ggcwkuhealthservices 

• If you have a more severe health condition requiring urgent attention, you should visit an urgent care center.

• If you have a medical emergency, you should call 911 for an ambulance or have someone drive you to an emergency room.  There are two local hospitals: Medical Center and Tristar Greenview.
