WKU AI Conference

We invite the WKU community to submit proposals for an interactive Zoom conference to be held on Friday, April 4, 2025. The purpose of this event is to explore the transformative power of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education as we consider the impacts of AI on teaching, research, student learning and critical thinking. The conference will be offered in three formats:

  • 55-minute Workshops: Deep dive into a specific topic or application, fostering hands-on learning and discussion.
  • 15-minute Demonstrations: Showcase an AI tool or strategy that you have utilized, igniting ideas and sparking conversation.
  • 25-minute Roundtables: Lead an in-depth exploration of an AI tool or strategy, sharing practical insights into and conversations around how faculty can operationalize this tool in their own work.
