The Model Student – Monday, October 10th @ 7PM, Minton Hall Lobby
Every student wants to be the model student; most people want to know how to get there. Our program called, “The Model Student” will show our residents what it takes by showing them 2 types of students. One student will be the model student and one will be the anti –model student. These two models will rip the runway as they portray good student behavior and bad student behavior. Our “fall collection” or topics covered will consist of procrastination issues related to academic progression, illness and emergency awareness, counseling sessions, career services center, addressing 5th week assessments, when to drop a class, addressing your teacher, etc.
This will be a fun and interesting way to address some student concerns. Fifth week assessment is coming up and the last drop date is also. They may have heard of these things but a little reminder wouldn’t hurt especially close to the time when they may need to think about their options.
